How to Add Pages in WordPress

Creating a New page

Starting at your admin dashboard, go to ‘Pages’ in the side-panel menu, and under the sub-menu, click on ‘All Pages’.



From here you can click on ‘Add New Page’ near the top of the page.



This will bring you to the template to create a new page, add a title, text, and media, as well as format and customize your content. Just under ‘Add New Page‘ you can enter your page title into the box reading ‘Enter title here’.



Adjusting the Formatting of Your Content

Within the provided space below the title box, you can input text and media. Here you will have several options to amend the image as it appears on your page. You can add a caption, alternative text, alignment, size as well as link it to a file. Publishing and Viewing Your Page

As you are working on your page, to ensure that all changes are saved, you will want to periodically click the ‘Save Draft’ button.
